Boutique hotel in a good area very close to the city centre, Edinburgh for a couple of nights and the restaurant. Gorgeous meals with good drinks. Marvellous location, a short way from everywhere.

Shoutout to Callum!
Had a pretty rough stay. Callum at reception was the only bright spot. Our room had black mold, and I found the shower had no hot water. Breakfast was just a piece of fruit! I was so put off after my meal came with nasty bread. Think they really need to improve their cleanliness and food quality.

Great for families seeking comfort
The lady at reception was super cute, just like a breath of fresh air after a long drive, and the room was clean, comfy enough for my kid to feel at home. Plus, the breakfast was not just decent. It was a solid start to the day with plenty of options to refuel us.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but then again, you get what you pay for.

I liked the location for the proximaty to Hampden Park. I liked that the receptionist offered to give us a lift to Hampden Park for the concert. I liked the friendly barmaid that servied us drinks in the downstairs bar. I liked the room.
I didn't like how I have paid £90 for a room, yet this time, because there was a concert on, it was £180 for the same room on the same night of the week. I didn't like that we only got 2 hours sleep becuase there was a wedding party on our floor conducting arguments for most of the early hours of the morning.

Close proximity to Hampden Park, diverse room types including suites, occasional live events hosted
The bathroom fittings need immediate maintenance!!! The TV and WiFi connectivity are far from reliable!!! Cleanliness issues in the public areas could really dampen anyone's experience!!!

Good location for Hampden Stadium, which is why we chose it, a straightforward half hours stroll. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean and comfy. Very good value at £70 on an event night. Food excellent, especially the hearty breakfast served with a smile ,on a Sunday morning ! Would definately stay again.
An extremely loud D.J., playing extremely loud music, till 1 am on the Sunday morning after we got back from our concert, but it is a function Hotel after all and it was the weekend,so we just accepted it graciously! After it finished it quickly became very quiet till breakfast time.
